Remember the two biggest dangers to your firearm is rust and politicians. Get out an practice shooting and keep your skills honed . I can tell you as a range owner if your a hunter the deer are pretty safe ! Most people dont take the time need to practice to become a better shot and be familiar with their gun and the ballistics of the round they shoot . Most people dont know a 308 drops 13 " at 300 yards and a 30-30 drops almost 25" . So most deer at the distance are either missed or have a hole in them somewhere it shouldn't be. So come on out ask questions and learn more about your gun and the round you shoot.
